Direct Access to your Buzzsaw Site through Mobile Apps

Have you ever thought to yourself that it might be great to have access to your Buzzsaw in directly in other applications on your Android, iPad or iPhone (Keynote, Pages, Numbers and GoodReader and others)? Then you have come to the right place for the answer. Many of these Apps have a WebDAV feature where you can access all of the files and folders directly from Buzzsaw, and save or sync them back to Buzzsaw without having to actaully open the Buzzsaw Mobile App.

I am using the iPad App GoodReader for the example, but the process is essentailly the same once you know the WebDAV address for your site.

Start by selecting Add for Connect Servers. This will open a dialog box where you can enter your Buzzsaw credentials.

The important component to know is the address for your Buzzsaw site to access the web folders. The URL you want to use is https://webfolders.buzzsaw.com/{yoursitename}. The rest is your user name and password.

You can setup multiple sites as well as have it path directly to a specific folder as well.

Once complete, you sould be able to see all of your Buzzsaw folders and files.

As you select files to edit there will be a Sync button where you can save the file back into Buzzsaw.

One of the quickest ways to improve your productivity is to learn a few shortcuts, I don't know where I'd be without Alt tabbing through windows or Ctrl tabbing on my internet browser, hopefully some of these will leave you time for an extra coffee during your day!
